Living or working along the edge of Macdonald-Cartier International Airport means fewer nearby options when your vehicle stops working. A dead battery near Hunt Club Road or a flat tire in Wisteria Park still needs a fast, capable response. Canadian Towing has been running a licensed tow truck service in Uplands, Ottawa, since 2015, and we show up day or night no matter how close to the fence line you are.
Local Tow Truck & Emergency Recovery in Uplands, Ottawa
Uplands is a small residential neighbourhood in Gloucester-Southgate Ward, bordered directly by the airport on two sides. There is no repair shop inside the neighbourhood itself. A stall near Uplands Drive or a lockout outside a Wisteria Park home means calling a team that can actually reach you quickly, not just claim to serve the area.
Canadian Towing serves Uplands from our Ottawa base, with regular calls along Hunt Club Road, Uplands Drive, and throughout Wisteria Park. We also cover nearby South Keys, Hunt Club, and Riverside South for drivers who need help across Ottawa's south end.
We carry full insurance and follow Ontario towing regulations on every call as your local Uplands Ottawa towing company. You hear the price before the truck moves. Our operators know the roads around the airport border and the quieter streets of Wisteria Park equally well, so you are never left guessing when help will arrive.

Why Uplands Drivers Choose Our Emergency Towing Company
Living on the Airport's Edge in Uplands
Drivers searching for towing near Ottawa Airport often mean this neighbourhood specifically. Uplands is one of the few Ottawa neighbourhoods bordered directly by Macdonald-Cartier International Airport, with the airport running along both the southern and western edges. That proximity means less passing traffic and fewer nearby services than a typical residential area.
A breakdown here often means waiting longer for a driver who does not know the area. We send trucks familiar with the streets closest to the airport fence line, so you are not left wondering if help even knows where to find you.

What Happens the Moment You Call Us in Uplands
1. Tell Us Where You're Parked or Stopped
Call 613-869-2323 and let us know your vehicle type and exact location. Mention if you are near Hunt Club Road, Uplands Drive, or somewhere inside Wisteria Park so we can plan the right approach before the truck leaves.
2. We Match the Truck to the Situation
A flatbed for a damaged vehicle. A heavy wrecker for a stalled commercial unit. Winching gear for a snowbank recovery. Dispatch selects the right equipment based on your situation and the roads around you.
3. You Confirm the Price Before We Move
You receive a clear price based on your vehicle and the service needed before the truck moves. No hidden fees. No surprises when the job is done. Work only begins once you approve the quote.
4. Your Vehicle Gets Delivered Safely
The closest available truck takes the fastest route into Uplands. Your vehicle is loaded and secured using professional equipment, then delivered safely to your chosen repair shop, dealership, or home.
Winter Towing Support Across Uplands
Ottawa winters hit Uplands hard, especially on the open stretches near the airport where wind has nothing to slow it down. Snow piles up fast along Hunt Club Road and Uplands Drive, and driveways in Wisteria Park can disappear under a single overnight storm.
Deep snow recovery is one of our most common winter calls in this area. A car buried past the bumper or stuck spinning in a snow-packed driveway needs more than a shovel. Our team carries winching equipment built for heavy snow and ice, so we can pull a vehicle free without causing damage to the undercarriage or tires.
Cold snaps also mean more dead batteries than usual. We handle both battery boosts and full recoveries through the winter months, day or night. If your car is stuck in the snow or will not start after a hard freeze, one call gets a truck moving toward you.
Towing Coverage for Wisteria Park's Quiet Streets
Built around 2006 just north of Uplands off Hunt Club Road, Wisteria Park is newer than the rest of the neighbourhood and keeps its own community association. The streets here are quiet, with driveways and cul-de-sacs that differ from the older Uplands core closer to the airport.
A dead battery or lockout in Wisteria Park gets the same fast response as anywhere else we cover. Our drivers know the difference between the newer streets here and the older blocks nearer Uplands Drive, so the right approach is ready before we arrive.
Streets, Landmarks, and Coverage Around Uplands, Ottawa
Canadian Towing provides professional towing and roadside assistance across Uplands, Ottawa K1V, and the surrounding Gloucester-Southgate communities. Drivers searching for a tow truck near me in Uplands can count on a fast response no matter where in the neighbourhood they are stuck. We also reach nearby South Keys, Hunt Club, and Riverside South for anyone who needs help just outside the immediate area.
About Uplands, Ottawa
Uplands is a residential neighbourhood in Gloucester-Southgate Ward, in the south end of Ottawa. It sits in the former City of Gloucester and the Ottawa South riding. The neighbourhood was first built around 1940 and expanded eastward in the early 1960s. Its population, including the newer Wisteria Park area, reached 1,581 at the 2016 Census.
The area carries a strong military history. It began as RCAF Station Uplands in 1942, later became CFB Uplands in 1968, and was decommissioned as a base in 1996. The site is still officially known as the Canadian Forces Support Unit Uplands and continues to house military families. Wisteria Park, built around 2006 north of the older neighbourhood off Hunt Club Road, maintains its own community association and gives the area a newer residential section alongside its historic core.
Canadian Towing has served Uplands and Ottawa's south end since 2015. Our licensed and insured operators provide 24/7 towing, vehicle recovery, and roadside assistance with fast dispatch and transparent pricing. From airport-border breakdowns to Wisteria Park driveway calls, residents can count on a team that understands this neighbourhood and responds quickly.
